Policies
Cancellation & payment policies – We will refund 75% of the order total if the order is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the pickup/delivery time. If you cancel within the 72-hour period, no money will be refunded. Orders cannot be changed once they have been placed. If you cancel an order to place a changed order, you run the risk of losing the date/time availability.
Late to pick up – We will give a 30-minute grace period for late pick-ups, but there is a chance I won’t be home or won’t be working anymore that day (hours for pick up/delivery are 10 AM – 5 PM). You will have to email sweetdreamsbakeryoc@gmail.com to re-schedule a pick-up time, whether it’s that day or one of the following.
If you’re not home for a scheduled delivery –
1. We will not be leaving your baked goods at the door. They are perishable and it’s unsanitary. You will have to email sweetdreamsbakeryoc@gmail.com to schedule a pick-up time instead.
Upon checking out, you will be able to mark the option: “I acknowledge that it is fine to leave my baked goods at the front door if no one answers in a timely manner and that Sweet Dreams Bakery OC is not liable if something should happen to my delivery after it has been left at my doorstep.” You will receive a text message with a picture of your delivered order if no one answers the door.
Liability – We are not liable for what happens to the dessert(s) once they have been picked up or delivered, whether that be in transportation or if left out in the hot sun.
